This panel is a place for a face-to-face discussion, individual meetings for projects that searching investors, producers and distributors. Each project representative will do 10min. presentation in front of the investors/producers/distributors; distribute the project summary and the contact information.
Pre-regestration is strongly recommended to obtain an appointment. The Panel Pass is required for admission.
Each year, the SDIKFF have film delegations from China, Korea, Russia, Mexico etc plus hollywood. Remember to made additional meetings after the panel with them while they are in town.

Stephen Tako ; Moderator
Stephen Tako is a Senior Advisor on Childhood Bullying with the Child Safety Network. Being a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, he has authored several anti-bullying themed books for adults and children. As a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA), he has produced, directed, cast and performed in films and public service announcements focusing on youth issues such as bullying, discrimination, neglect and suicide. He has written three children's picture books and adapted them all into short animation-style films, working with 11 x Emmy recipient James R. Alburger. His film adaptation of "Junga the Dancing Yeti Meets Heidi" received 7 International Film Festival awards, including the 2021 Best Family Short Film from the San Diego International Kids' Film Festival. His film adaptation of "Junga the Dancing Yeti in Yeti, Set, Go!" has won 11 International Film Festival awards in 2024. He is the CEO of Motivated To Act, an antibullying nonprofit organization; he co-created a social and emotional learning (SEL) curriculum for schoolchildren, and is an active member in the La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club, Youth Services Committee. 
 
  John Luksetich,  Moderator
John Luksetich is a native from Dubuque, Iowa where people are known for their hard work, integrity, and generosity. Mr. Luksetich moved to California at first producing and hosting a children’s Cable TV show in Pasadena then he began a cutting edge alternative investigative Cable TV talk show in Long Beach entitled “Imagine” where he interviewed over 500 guests within 16 years in the areas of medicine, science, law, politics, education, etc. such as Dr. Garth Nicholson who appeared on Nightline and testified before our congress concerning an effective treatment for Gulf War Syndrome. As an actor he has appeared in over 30 TV shows and Indie feature films. Mr. Luksetich has written, directed and produced 5 feature films over the past 6 years including the award winning “Shadow of the Monarch”. Each film with a multicultural diverse cast and crew. He is also a critically acclaimed children’s author (“No Small Change” receiving commendation as one the most beautifully illustrated children’s books), singer / songwriter (One of his anti-drug rap songs was performed at the Rose Bowl before 50,000 DARE students the former first lady Nancy Reagan), stand up comedian, and father of Maria – his daughter with down Syndrome. 
 
  RANDY KENT;  Moderator
Randy shot Bagboy Productions first feature film in 2002: Life, Death & Mini-Golf. The production was entirely self-financed and filmed in only three locations over a 14-day period. The drama ensemble is noted for being the first feature film role of comedy star, Kristen Wiig. Since then, Kent has written, produced, directed and co-directed numerous feature film projects including: Life Of Lemon, The Perfect House, The Lempke Brothers and Shadow Of The Monarch. Other projects Randy is attached to direct and produce include the character-driven thriller, Road To Rosarito; the ‘80s homage, spiritual adventure, The Wizard Project; a TV show & feature film based on the mock band, Drunk N Stupid; A spiritual medical drama, Life & Death; And the feature length version of Timmy, The Bag Boy. Randy also runs the commercial production company, Zeropoint30 Productions, where he produces commercials/promos for DIRECTV, East West Bank, Lunex Telecom, Naturalena and Seafood City Supermarkets.
