MAGI AVILA. Actress, Producer, Co-Host 
Magi Avila co-stars Bruce Willis in recently released feature “First Kill”. She co-stars opposite Nicholas Cage and Willem Dafoe in Paul Schrader's "Dog Eat Dog". Sheappeared in Woody Allen’s “Café Society” and next to Oscar nominee Demian Bichir in Chris Weitz' "A Better Life". Avila captured the U.S. audience with "Fantasias" a film by Jorge Araujo distributed by Universal Pictures. Magi Avila guest-starred on "Training Day" with Will Paxton and "The Shield", with Michael Chiklis. Magi is in over 30 films.She is the producer, co-writer and costume designer of her one-woman-show, biography of Hollywood's star Carmen Miranda. Magi performed in several theater plays, in the US and Mexico. 
Magi initiated her career during teenage years singing opera, for then president of Mexico Ernesto Cedillo. She did modeling jobs, print ads and television commercials. She was News Host for Televisa
   Joey Chase, Actor, Co-Host
Joey Chase is an actor and model of mixed ethnicity (Japanese and Irish-American). Having lived in both Japan and the USA, he is fluent in both Japanese and English. Joey Chase first broke into the entertainment industry through fitness modeling and quickly developed a passion for acting. Joey Chase lives a very active lifestyle and loves to take on action roles. He is passionate about his craft and continuously studies all different techniques of acting. He was Best Lead Actor and Best Ensemble Cast nominee of 2024 San Diego Film Awards
Candice Genine, Co-Host
As an educator, public speaking coach, presenter, writer, mentor, volunteer, Candice is someone who values all forms of meaningful communication and authentic connections. Reckless optimist, grateful heart, with a childlike wonder and belief in the power of positivity. Just back from Australia where she gave a workshop to share her research on happiness as it aligns to purpose, perspective, and positivity. Heading to Finland in January to conduct research on the reported happiest country in the world seven years running. Presently, continuing work on her children's books -the boo boo duck series. The dream is to put a book and a stuffed animal duck (weighted and textured for comfort and love) in the hands of children in the hospital or otherwise sick in any way. She is profoundly grateful for the gift of each and every day, the opportunity to help make a positive impact on the community (locally and globally), and all the people she meets along the way.
  Michael E. Vasquez, Actor, Co-Host
Michael E. Vasquez made his debut in a local TV commercial. He has been in a great deal of independent films including “Treasures,”“Paradise Café,” and starred in “Mafioso,”“Haircut”“Angel Girl”-film/stage, “& “Wishful Thinking, “ALife of Purpose” “Perhaps Today-The Great Disappearance.” He starred in the webseries “MAXOUTT,” an Arrogant Personal Trainer. His stage experience includes Summer Shorts at the Sunshine Brooks Theatre, in Oceanside CA, as Julius Caesar; He was the butler in “The Butler Did It” at the Dana Point Community House, Dana Point. In his spare time, he plays the West African hand drum(Djembe), sings, and sometimes chews on a tin sandwich. He has competed in seven IRONMAN TRYATHLONS. Michael was a judge at the Miss TeenOceanside in 2022. You can always catch up with Michael on the Red-Carpetat the Oceanside International Film Festival in February every year
Emma Wang, President of American Chinese Culture and Education Foundation
Ms. Emma Wang is an award-winning real estate professional.  She  devoted her time to organizing social networks and community service. She is the current president of the American Chinese Culture and Education Foundation (ACCEF). She was also the former president of the Southern California Alumni Association of the University of Science and Technology of China.ACCEF is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2004 with two goals in mind: funding the education of underprivileged children in China and promoting Chinese culture in America. In the past two decades, ACCEF has helped thousands of students in rural China complete their schooling. Thanks to generous community donations and the dedication of its volunteers, ACCEF was able to rebuild 17 schools in rural China. Back at home, ACCEF organizes the annual San Diego Chinese New Year Gala, which began in 2006. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic ACCEF raised over $400k of medical supplies for use in hospitals, nursing homes, and airports. ACCEF also oversees the Youth Care Club (YCC), which is the youth branch of the organization. YCC students volunteer at community service events around San Diego, including tonight’s San Diego international Kids’ Film Festival.
LEON JONES,  Singer
Leon started performing as far back as grade school at the age of 9 years old in school plays. His journey has taken him to places like Long Island, N.Y. working with the likes of entertainers such as James Brown, Whitney Houston, Rob Base and a host of famous Reggae artists. In the early 90's in North Carolina he opened a small music studio to help keep local kids out of gangs by giving them a place to focus on their talents. Leon has performed in other countries such as Hong Kong and Mexico. Currently living in the Los Angeles, CA. area he has performed at weddings, various night clubs and fashion shows. Leon is frequently seen performing at events such as the Wind International Film Festival, Universe Multicultural Film Festival, LANFA International Music and Dance Festival, Passion Vista Global Icon Awards, Lucky Strike Film Festival, NAACP events honoring the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and GC Entertainment talent shows. He has received many awards for singing and is currently waiting to release his third New Old School album in the summer of 2022 
  Guoyun Guzheng Workshop-San Diego
Teacher Cindy Chen participated in the guzheng performance at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and was invited to perform on behalf of China at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Founded Guoyun Guzheng Workshop] in San Diego in 2018, engaged in the popularization of guzheng education for children and adults. She has been engaged in guzheng education for more than 20 years, cultivating many students who have been admitted to major music schools with excellent results, and training a large number of professional guzheng playing talents. In order to promote Chinese national music culture, he has led the team to actively participate in various local Chinese performances in San Diego since its establishment, and has been praised by people from all walks of life at home and abroad. Its students have won many awards in major competitions in the United States and China, and many of them have been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York.
 
Zachary (Z.R.) Simpson, actor, composer
Zachary (Z.R.) Simpson wears many creative hats at Studio Story Monster. Bringing with him a wealth of knowledge from his career as a performer for Disney, Universal Studios, and international cruise lines, as well as expertise from his degree in Music Composition, his talents cover an array of specialties that elevate the Studio Story Monster brand. He began by producing the official "Story Monster Theme Song," with lyrics written by children's book author Conrad J. Storad, and music composed by Simpson. The song, performed by Erin Rementer with Leanora Legg and Miles Rementer, went on to win multiple awards for Best Children's Song.
Simpson also produced "Who Are These Bugs?", a song from the children's musical "Cate and the Garden Bandits: The Musical", which is currently in production. The musical, based on the children's book "Cate and the Garden Bandits" written by Betsy Coffeen, features music and lyrics by Simpson and is performed by Erin Rementer. This musical adaptation, along with other plays he has created based on books published by Story Monsters LLC, has garnered critical acclaim and awards, showcasing his versatility and creativity in the world of children's theater. 
  Tiger Cubs Dance Club.
The club was founded in 2021 as a youth dance team under non-profit organization Blue Ming Asian Artists.What brought them together is their passion about the uniqueness and diversity of Chinese culture.They hope to spread the cultural awareness through their performances. 
  Patio Playhouse Community & Youth Theater:
Patio Playhouse’s cast of Princess Whatsername as they perform 2 dances from their show. Princess Whatsername boasted a cast of 86 local children performers. Patio Playhouse is a non for profit community theater and is the only theater in San Diego that does not charge children to be involved in their productions. 
  Blue Ming Chinese Dance Company
Founded in 2010, Blue Ming Chinese Dance Company is a subsidiary organization under Blue Ming Asian Artists, a 501 (C) 3 not-for-profit organization. The members are dedicated to promoting the art of Chinese dance among peoples of different cultures.The dances are a feast for the eyes and the soul, showcasing a variety of traditional and ethnic Chinese dances, as well as modern dances. Their notable audiences include the San Diego Opera, San Diego Symphony, US Marine Corps, USS Midway Museum, and Hotel Del Coronado.
