As one of the professional kids’ film festivals, SDIKFF wants to provide a professional platform to help the kids and adults who have a film dream . Among the panels this year, “Audition for Family and Kids’ Films” will provide tips from the industrial insights to all the participants, help all the parents, kids and adult  be more ready in the future auditions.
This panel is about:
- What kind of information is important on the audition post.
- How to help the kids get the right emotions for the roles as soon as possible.
- Communicating strategies with the audition crews.
- How to follow up after the audition appropriately.
 
 
 
The Panel Speakers:  
Samuel Warren, CSA
Samuel Warren is an independent feature film and television casting director with over 30 years of experience. He has been an active Casting Society of America (CSA) member in San Diego, Los Angeles, and New York. Currently, his casting company is available for your upcoming projects in the USA or abroad.
  Michael Matteo Rossi
Rossiis an American film director, writer, and producer
He is most known for his action thriller film Chase, and won the Best Action Feature award at the Hollywood Reel Film festival. 
Rossi is also known for his feature Misogynist, and won best narrative feature at the Los Angeles Underground Film Festival.
Rossi ‘s film “ Shadows” , an action movie, won best director at Universe Multicultural Film Festival
Rossi's most recent production is Censor Addiction, which he has written and will be Directing. Shooting begins early April 2024. Rossi has been long time supporters for San Diego International Kids' Film
Theodora Ferrari Moutinho, actress, influencer
Theidira is a 23-year-old Brazilian-born actress and influencer who grew up in New York and now resides in Los Angeles, California. She has also lived in Mexico City, Johannesburg and Tampa. She is most known for her lead role as "Too Late Girl" in The Weeknd's After Hours Nightmare at Universal Studios (2022). She has also been in DAVE season 3 as Waitress (2023). Teddy has been building her social media platforms since 2017 and has a passion for content creation with an incredible 8.8 million followers combined across all platforms from her fitness and sports videos. She has a devotion to acting and has been doing so since she was 8 years old; her training has been highly recognized from earning the "Outstanding Performance Recognition Award for Class of 2018 in IB Literature and Performance Higher Level" as she graduated from the HS International Baccalaureate program in Theatre, Film and Literature & Performance in 2018. She graduated from the University of Tampa in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre as well as a minor in Criminology.
Gary Sugai , actor
Mr. Gary Sugai is a well-trained east coast actor living & working in Los Angeles. Recently his work has included (Trapped in Motion 2023, Love & Trust 2020, Keeping Cool 2020) He is a second-generation Japanese/American with a Filipino mix. Also he was reborn in a local theater in NYC established in 2000. With a love of legit theater, his favorite works include "Royal Hunt of the Sun” to "Scrooge the Musical" In August 2019, Gary decided to move forward into Film and Television by moving to Los Angeles where he trained at the Krater Studios of Los Angeles, acting coaches Deryn Warren who wrote the book “How to Make Your Audience Fall in Love With You” and casting director Dean Fronk of LA, meeting casting director Stephen Snyder. Mr. Sugai’s belief and saying as an actor is “You do not become successful without meeting failure first
