The 2021 SDIKFF Events:
This year, the SDIKFF have selected 84+ projects from 30+ countries. Under the second years’ Covid pandemic and travel bans between countries, most international film makers cannot l appear at the event as before. In local San Diego, the venues that we have been use for years can not reopening for us due to the Covid, The 2021 SDIKFF committee decide to host the event in South bay area of Los Angeles where there are venues available to accommodate our film makers and audiences.
With goals to promote positive educational impact on children and the youth, the San Diego International Kid’s Film Festival actively supports innovative films made by filmmakers from around the globe. In addition to the film screenings, as the regular program, the 2021 SDIKFF will host Family Film Market; Red Carpet Award Ceremony and After party that substitute the panels and galas that the SDIKFF hosted for years. The film juries consist of an outstanding committee of industry personnel. There will also be film distributors present at the festival to secure other desired material.
