This organization comprises of smart, strong and insightful group of organizers who are trying to put all their efforts in the development of TAS organization. The journey of " Tap & Stop Dance Group" started off with few interested IT Working Folks who loves to dance in their free time. We Presented Indian Classical modern Dance forms. We explore Techniques, Improvisation and compositional components of Indian Dance forms. The Team Successfully organised cultural events in 2015 and 2016. In addition TAS has also participated in "Balboa Diwali Festival of lights" which is being organised by Indian American Society since the decade. |

San Diego Korean Pungmul Institute
We are the non-profit organization and started in January 2007. The team is composed of elementary, middle, and high school students from various schools in San Diego. The purpose of our organization is to promote volunteerism, encourage positive relationships with local communities, and prepare the Korean-American youth to become a leader of a society. Also, we support our Korean-American youths to preserve their identities by having them experience a variety of traditional Korean musical culture. Also, our students voluntarily perform in a variety of events to share Korean culture with other ethnicities. Our organization has been participating in Rose Bowl Parade, Hollywood Parade, Disneyland Parade, Seaworld Lunar New Year celebration, Delmar Fair, and other local cultural events. |

Founded in 1974 by the late Dr. Lolita Diñoso Carter, this non-profit organization continues to educate and entertain the San Diego community at large of the richness of Philippine cultural arts through music and dance. Samahan offers classes in the South Bay and more recently, North County at The Filipino School. Classes are offered for children and adults with interest in learning about their cultural history and develop a sense of community. Samahan will have its 41st annual Concert of Traditional Philippine Dances & Music on Saturday, September 10, 2016 (2&7pm) at The Joan B. Kroc Theatre. We are grateful to share our dances with you! |
