Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival Partnered with San Diego International kids Film Festival           

A memorandum of understanding (MOU ) was signed in South Korea by Mr. Han-Ki Kim, Director of Seoul Guro international Kids film festival (GUKI) and Ms. Lynn Tang, Director of San Diego International Kids Film Festival (SDIKFF)!

From October 23 to October 25, 2013, the GUKI was held at Guro district of Seoul in South Korea; Ms. Lynn Tang was present to sign a MOU. Beginning in 2014, the audience attending GUKI and SDIKFF can view the winning films from the other film festival at their film screening event.

Guro district in Seoul is famous for its digital (I.T.) industry and the large portion of Greenbelt zoning for green environment.

At GUKI, the films from around the world were screened; the governor of Guro district presented the cash awards to 7 winners at the event. The activities at GUKI include: the star-studded opening ceremony that features live performance & red carpet photographs, the local children's workshops which was directed by the top filmmakers, the award ceremony that had Korean music and the children's performance.

The GUKI in 2013 had two sections in the program: the Korean domestic film competition and SDIKFF's film screening.The Korean film competition was judged by an international jury committee, including Ms. Lynn Tang. The animation workshop's instructors are Mr. Chang Xu(China) and Mr. Jaime Maestro(Spain). The live action film seminar was directed by Mr. Insik Park(South Korea).

In the late afternoon of October 23, it was the SDIKFF section. Ms. Lynn Tang represented the filmmakers to host the Q & A session.
