Adam Rocke , Screenwriter~Author~Ghostwriter A "literary mercenary" with a highly unusual skill set, and a Rolodex filled with fascinating, oftentimes dangerous people amassed during two decades of high-octane participatory journalism, Adam has authored hundreds of feature articles for the hippest publications, and more than 50 books (fiction and nonfiction, credited and ghosted). Adam lives by the simple creed: “Life is too short to write boring stories.” |

Winnie Khaw, Screenwriter Winnie's screenplays have placed in contests such as Screencraft, Diverse Voices, Creative World Awards, Stage 32, and StoryPros Awards. Too many film festivals have accepted her submission fee and recognized her work. I (that's the opinionated unreliable narrator in me) say too many, because if she's never built up the resilience to face feedback in a room or direction on set, it's useless. In short, Winnie is a cautionary tale on the dangers of playing it safe. Skipping the boring bits to 2023, Smithy Studios hired her to co-create animation for her favorite demographic in the world—families. A short script she wrote based on a book (Onward, At Last by Kevin Howard) seems to be moving forward toward a feature-length film ... if only there wasn't an overdue strike. But Winnie believes a really nice day will dawn despite plagiarism software marring the horizon. The problems that the world faces are not insurmountable. And if they are, our life's mission is to create quality entertainment of such preposterous proportions that people die laughing. Right before they get back to addressing what is within their ability to handle. |
