Atoms (USA) Sean Browne
The story begins when Jack, a young sensei, is sucked into the body of San Galgano during the Middle Ages. Jack and Galgano learn of Alferius, a man who failed to align a magic sword with the shrines of the Archangel Michael, a necessary task in order to defeat the evil forces and prevent impending armageddon. They inherit Alferius' mission, and display their ability to overcome the challenges of the time, avoiding the feared apocalypse, breaking spells, and returning to their families.

Set in the 1930’s England, Daisy, an adventuresome eight year old protests a “boys only” prejudice when her ten year old brother, Sebastian, sets sail to Africa with his godfather. Near Nairobi, Kenya, they go on safari with a new chief and his daughter, ten year old Princess Sophia. A girl being allowed on a safari is a big surprise to Sebastian. When they are accidentally left behind in the wild bush country, more surprises follow: lions, poachers, buried treasure, magic spells, and two friendly elephants.

Scottish siblings, Erin and Owen Macdonald, are swallowed by the Loch Ness monster and brought to the magical land of Mythatania where all of the creatures heard of in myth and folklore have gone to escape the outside world. There they meet “The Mythfitz”, a group of mythical youngsters, and embark on a wonderful adventure.

Erkermer is a little fella who looks like bird poop. Everyone thinks he is a worm while he thinks he's a snake. But he wants to fly like a turkey buzzard. It turns out to be... Just like a little caterpillar that turns into a beautiful butterfly. In the end, there was never a little 'fella' at all.

“Ridin on Duke’s Train”, set in 1939 on the cusp of World War Two, is about a young African-American orphan boy, Danny, who narrowly escapes a KKK lynching and stumbles upon bandleader Duke Ellington’s private rail cars. He is discovered as a stowaway, and is “adopted” by Ellington and the members of his band. Danny’s adventures with the Ellington family lead to his eventual achievements in life as an adult.

To complete the entry test of the Bravery club, a friendless young boy named Charlie puts laxatives into chocolate chip cookies and delivers it to the creepy old man Jack living next door, but ends up forming a friendship with him.

Hickory learns the story of Lightning from his grandpa, and discovers the beauty of an imaginary world where Yezo saves the Zips from domination by capturing of the power of lightning. He also discovers that he too has the power to capture an idea from lightning and is able to create his own imaginary world in story.
